Corey’s mission includes providing opportunities for partnership between Suffolk Construction and BIPOC and women-led businesses. Corey has also worked closely with the Dearborn STEM Academy, providing young engineering students with early industry experiences that will help them thrive in the construction industry.

As the president of Greater Boston’s AABE, Shalaya works closely with the Dearborn STEM Academy to provide Black students with the resources needed to succeed in the energy industry. Shalaya has been instrumental in Elder’s partnership with Revision Energy, where he currently holds a coveted internship.
